The project was largely based around the new timber frame pre-fab extension to the rear of the Dining hall. The intention was to open up the entire area to create a modern Dining Hall / Performing Arts room.

The existing and new structures were fully clad in timber and insulated all round to blend the extension into the existing.

A new green sedum roof was installed along with feature windows all round.

Internally, the existing walls were altered to allow for a new ‘back of house’ Kitchen management suite, with WC’s / Changing area. The existing cold/dry store rooms were refurbished and a full new modern commercial kitchen was installed with all new services.

 

Within the Performing arts area new feature floor finishes, vinyl wall finishes and acoustic ceiling panels were installed to create a clean, modern open area.
